Framed by mountains, woods and water in the the southernmost city in the world, the Cultural and Environmental Center for the Arts, Science and Technology of Tierra del Fuego, is an innovative building and the milestone of an ambitious cultural infrastructure network with regional, national and international impact. The “Teatro del Fin del Mundo” is located on three hectares of native forest -the Pipo River Eco-Park- featuring a theatre complex comprising a Multipurpose Hall for 1,500 spectators, an Experimental Hall for 400 spectators and two auditoriums of 150 seats each. The exhibition area offers two permanent galleries, the new Museum of Science and Technology and the Provincial Historic Archive. The complex addresses educative programs with workshops, rehearsal rooms and a library.
